May 28 is the International Day of Action for Women’s Health! Shibuya City × Shibuya City Tourism Association × W society “#Let’sKnowOurselves Project Shibuya” is launching!

Hello, everyone. 🌸 I am Iguchi from the Social Good Promotion Office of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP!

W society, a project in which SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP participates, has launched a new initiative to coincide with International Action Day for Women’s Health on May 28.

It is titled the “#KnowMyself Project Shibuya.” 🌈

This seminar features Yuki Oki, a former announcer who currently serves as the PR manager for Reiwatravel Inc. in Shibuya. Additionally, we are launching a collaborative campaign where the AMH test—which was also taken by judoka Uta Abe, the gold medalist in the women’s 52kg category at the Tokyo 2020 Games—can be taken for 0 yen out-of-pocket (normally around 8,000 yen). Here is the latest information on these two highlights!

This article is recommended for those looking for the following information:
• Corporate HR and PR representatives interested in study groups or welfare programs for women’s empowerment.
• Women working at companies based in Shibuya who are concerned about balancing their careers with life events.
• Those interested in egg freezing and AMH testing under SUNNY SIDE UP’s 32 Benefits, specifically the “Dear Woman System.”

Our goal is to create opportunities for all women to “know themselves” and to consider the balance between their careers and life events. Furthermore, we hope this seminar will help “redesign society” by calling on companies to participate, assisting management and HR departments in rethinking systems required for the promotion of women’s empowerment. 🕊

Online seminar to be held on May 24 at 4:00 PM! Promoting the importance of “knowing yourself” from Shibuya!

The W society Executive Committee, supported by Shibuya City and the Shibuya City Tourism Association, will broadcast the “#KnowMyself Project Shibuya” Life Design Online Seminar on Tuesday, May 24, from the Shibuya City Parenting Neuvola. The seminar is aimed at companies and working women based in Shibuya to learn about women’s life events, health conditions that can occur at different life stages, and how to balance these with a career.

Learning about life events, health, and careers that working women and companies should know

The “#KnowMyself Project Shibuya” Life Design Online Seminar received the support of Shibuya City and the Shibuya City Tourism Association, as they resonated with the W society Executive Committee’s desire to help working women and companies promoting women’s empowerment understand the importance of women “knowing themselves” first.

The seminar speakers will include Yuki Oki, a former TV announcer and current PR manager at Reiwatravel Inc. based in Shibuya, and Dr. Tetsuaki Kaku, Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Phoenix Medical Clinic in Shibuya. They are scheduled to hold a talk session on the theme of “Career Design Starting from ‘Knowing Your Body.'”

A talk session will be held on the theme of “Career Design Starting from ‘Knowing Your Body'” featuring Yuki Oki, a former TV announcer and current PR manager at Reiwatravel Inc. in Shibuya, and Dr. Tetsuaki Kaku, Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Phoenix Medical Clinic. To design a career while successfully managing the health concerns and physical changes unique to women at each life stage, it is essential to first “know” your own body well.

Working women face a variety of concerns: “My future is still vague, and I don’t know if I want children,” “I want children someday, but I’m busy with work and it doesn’t feel like it’s for right now,” or “Recently, I’ve been feeling unwell more often. I want to keep aiming for career advancement, but I need to start facing my health properly.” To help women consider their future careers and life plans, we will also deepen the understanding of the significance of the AMH test [Anti-Müllerian Hormone test: a blood test that reflects ovarian reserve (an estimate of the number of follicles remaining in the ovaries)] as a tool that can be started immediately.

What is the “#KnowMyself Project Shibuya”?
Supported by Shibuya City and the Shibuya City Tourism Association, which promote diversity and inclusion, W society provides learning opportunities regarding “women’s healthcare” to companies and working women based in Shibuya. By creating opportunities to foster a “Well-Living” environment for every employee, the project supports diversity, inclusion, and the promotion of women’s empowerment within each company and Shibuya City.

What is the Women’s Empowerment Design Project “W society”?
Working, giving birth, balancing both… In an era where life plan options are expanding and diversifying, the answer to “woman empowerment” is certainly not just one. This project was born with the aim of creating a “society where all women can build a fulfilling lifestyle they are satisfied with.” It designs the “Well-Living” (a state of being able to live better) of each woman from both physical/mental (W=woman) and social (society) perspectives. We develop initiatives based on the three pillars of “Knowing,” “Learning,” and “Changing,” and as a social participation project involving cross-industry and industry-government-academia collaboration, we promote the social implementation and social transformation of measures that contribute to problem-solving.
