What is the “GOLDEN WORLD AWARDS 2022“?

Established in 1990, the “Golden World Awards” is one of the leading international awards in the PR industry, attracting entries from all over the world every year. Entries are accepted across 38 diverse categories. In addition to the top prize, the IPRA Grand Prix, this year’s awards recognize excellence in PR activities from various perspectives, including a special award for campaigns symbolizing “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions,” one of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Awarded as a “Social Good Company”! What were the key points of evaluation?

Since its founding, SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP has long been committed to “social good activities” (initiatives addressing social issues). These include the 2005 global advocacy campaign for poverty eradication, the “White Band Project,” and the “TAKE ACTION! 2008” campaign, which contributed to social welfare through football matches and charity galas using the power of sports to create opportunities for individuals to take action.We have undertaken various initiatives, such as “RockCorps,” an event started in 2014 where participants can attend live music concerts by volunteering.

SUNNY DAYS SDGs Series now being updated

Against the backdrop of growing momentum for the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) in Japan, we have further strengthened our social good activities in recent years.

In June 2021, we established the “Social Good Promotion Office” to drive solutions for social issues. In September of the same year, we founded Good＆Co.,Inc., a business dedicated to developing social issue-solving platforms, creating a foundation to accelerate our activities through more concrete initiatives!

Changing Society, Women’s Future: W society

As one of our primary activities, “W society“—a project designed to empower women by addressing both physical and social challenges—provided many women with the opportunity to “face their own bodies” through events such as “egg week” in October 2021 and “W week” held in conjunction with International Women’s Day in March 2022.

These awareness-raising activities, which promote the “Well-Living” of every woman, went beyond the scope of corporate communications and contributed to a shift in consciousness among both corporations and individual consumers.

These corporate communication activities were highly evaluated, leading to our recognition as a “Social Good Company” and resulting in this award.

Announcement from W society

The 3rd “W school”—a life design seminar to learn about women’s bodies, healthcare, and balancing them with a career—will be held for free on Wednesday, September 21!

The theme for this session is “What Men Should Know About Working Women’s Bodies: New Ways of Working Starting from Understanding Women’s Health Issues,” featuring a gynecologist as a guest speaker to provide a learning opportunity.
