Jetset, the Hair Salon That Doesn’t Cut Hair, Opens Its First New-Concept Store at Kirari to Ginza!

As summer gradually approaches, many of you may be preparing for the new season.

Today, we would like to introduce “Jetset,” a shampoo blow-dry specialty salon for which we provide PR support!

Jetset opened its first location in Hiroo in 2014 and relocated to Azabu-Juban in 2016. Through this journey, it has introduced a new concept of beauty salons—offering “shampoo and styling only”—and has provided Japanese women with new value.

Every day, while managing work, housework, childcare, and various other tasks, hair care takes time and effort! Moreover, many women struggle with the frustration of not being able to achieve the desired results when styling their own hair.

To address these concerns, Jetset Ginza, which opened on Saturday, May 11 on the 3rd floor of Kirari to Ginza, has introduced a new pricing structure to make the service accessible to more women. This includes an unlimited monthly membership plan at 16,000 yen, which is more affordable than existing locations.

I experienced the service firsthand, so let me share my report!

Jetset Ginza is located on the 3rd floor of Kirari to Ginza, a 1-minute walk from Exit 9 of Ginza-itchome Station.

As soon as you take the escalator to the 3rd floor, you are greeted by refreshing light blue and white interiors.

This light blue color is inspired by the sea and sky of California, where owner Julia grew up.

In the center of the salon, there are rows of seats where blow-drying and styling take place.

Pleasant sunlight streams in through the large windows facing Ginza’s Chuo-dori, creating a bright interior perfect for relaxing.

And here is the shampoo area where you can receive “the ultimate shampoo.”

Jetset Ginza offers both a monthly membership program and single-visit options for walk-in customers, allowing each customer to enjoy services at a price that suits their needs.

① SPEED plan (20 minutes, blow-dryer and iron only)

② JETSETTER plan (30 minutes, shampoo and blow-dryer only)

③ JETSETTER PRO plan (45 minutes, shampoo, blow-dryer, and iron)

I experienced the JETSETTER PRO plan, which includes shampoo, blow-drying, and iron styling, all completed in 45 minutes!

This plan not only allows you to refresh with a shampoo before important occasions but also includes hair styling with an iron.

First, a generous lather for the shampoo.

Having a professional thoroughly wash your hair feels incredibly refreshing. They also gave me a light head massage, and it was complete! It felt so good that I almost fell asleep…

Next, I moved to a seat by the large window for blow-drying.

The lime and basil fragrance of Jetset’s original shampoo gently filled the air, allowing me to relax with the pleasant scent throughout the blow-drying process.

While chatting with the staff, my hair was beautifully styled in no time!

It would be quite difficult to achieve this level of finish when blow-drying on my own. Both the appearance and texture were silky smooth—I was truly impressed.

After this, they styled my hair with an iron, and it was complete!

After consulting with the staff, I had my hair styled with beautiful, fine curls.

All of this took just 45 minutes. From shampoo to blow-drying and styling, I was thoroughly satisfied with the meticulous service provided by professionals (^_^)
