[Part 2] SUNNY SIDE UP PR! Introducing Summer 2019 Outing Spots
Hello! This is Sunny-chan from the PR department!
In the previous post, we shared the appeal of “Unko Museum TOKYO.” Today, we continue by introducing more “recommended summer outing spots” that we are helping to promote!
■ The first spot in the second half is “MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: EPSON teamLab Borderless” in Odaiba.

Jointly operated by Mori Building and teamLab, this is a “museum without a map” where visitors can experience a world that connects without boundaries and the transition of the seasons.
Since its opening on June 21, 2018, it has become an incredibly popular spot, attracting approximately 2.3 million visitors from over 160 countries in just one year!
As the name suggests, the interior of the museum is truly “borderless.”
Numerous digital artworks are displayed across a massive space of approximately 10,000 m². There are no boundaries between the works; they move out of rooms into corridors and even merge with other pieces.
Unlike traditional museums, there are no designated routes or maps. Each visitor is free to touch, follow, and explore, creating new experiences together with others in an unprecedented new world.
We would like to introduce a few selected works from the many on display.
“Forest of Flowers and People: Lost, Immersed and Reborn”

Located right at the entrance, this work fills the entire 360-degree expanse of a vast space with flowers and forests. Beautiful sounds accompany the digital art.
The vivid, endless imagery projected in the pitch-black space makes you feel as if you have wandered into another world. For a while after entering, I couldn’t even take photos; I just stood there staring blankly at the world.
Various seasons coexist in this space, constantly changing as they are influenced by people touching or walking around, causing flowers to scatter. As a result, it is a mysterious work where the same image is never projected twice.
Whether taking photos, gazing, or touching, it is a massive work that everyone can enjoy freely.
Universe of Water Particles on a Rock where People Gather

Located deeper within the previous space, this work centers around a three-dimensional “Rock where People Gather.”
When you stand on or touch the rocky area, the water splits and flows around you as if you yourself have become part of the rock.
Seeing people spending time as they pleased on the rocks beneath the beautiful water falling from the ceiling felt like being inside a story.
Forest of Resonating Lamps – One Stroke, Fire

This work features countless lamps made of Murano glass (Venetian glass) arranged in a room surrounded by mirrors.
When a person stands still, the nearest lamp glows and emits a beautiful tone. The light then spreads to the two nearest lamps, continuing in a chain reaction throughout the room.
Because it reacts to each person in the room, every individual influences the creation of a beautiful space of light.
This is a very popular work, and while there was a bit of a wait, the mystical scenery was well worth it.
In addition to the works introduced so far, there are many other attractions that cannot be fully captured in a blog post, such as areas for children and zones where you can enjoy art while being physically active.

The colors and movements of each work were so beautiful, and being able to experience the space as part of the artwork myself allowed me to lose track of time for hours.
Please come and experience this moving world of digital art for yourself—an experience that can only be truly appreciated by being there.

■ The second spot is “bills Shichirigahama,” featuring a stunning view of the ocean right before your eyes!

Bill Granger decided to open “bills Shichirigahama” as the first bills location in Japan because the Shonan coast and landscape reminded him of the scenery in Australia.
With such a charming location, the terrace seats are popular for dining while looking out at the Shonan sea and feeling the sea breeze!
In the evening, the sunset over Enoshima is beautiful, and we recommend enjoying it with a cocktail in hand.
Additionally, starting August 7, 2019, the “No. 14 Gimlet – Mitsui no Kotobuki, Gin, Lime,” a cocktail exclusive to bills Shichirigahama, has become available!

This cocktail uses “Mitsui no Kotobuki +14 Okara-kuchi Junmai Ginjo Yamada Nishiki,” a sake said to be the namesake of a popular character in a classic manga set in the Kamakura area. Many of you may recognize the label.

Why not fully enjoy the summer at bills Shichirigahama, a location with a panoramic view of Kamakura?

The three spots introduced so far are all places where you can fully enjoy a flow of time slightly removed from everyday life!
Please invite your family and friends to spend a wonderful time making summer memories this year! (^^)
