Celebrating the Birth of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc.! We Held Our Annual Zodiac Event with a Twist in 2020!

Happy New Year, everyone!

This is PR Sunny-chan. We look forward to working with you again this year.

This year, our company implemented “Premium Holiday,” allowing employees to take an extended year-end and New Year holiday, so our official first day back is January 14. Nevertheless, many highly motivated members gathered for today’s company-wide morning assembly, and we all made a flying start together!

The first New Year morning assembly of the Reiwa era began with President Tsugihara’s aspirations for 2020, marking the start of a new year.

In 2020, the long-awaited international sports festival will be held at the nearby National Stadium as the main venue! It promises to be a busy yet exciting year.

This year also marks a major turning point for us. As of January 1, 2020, our group transitioned to a holding company management structure, and the holding company “SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc.” was established. As a “PR Communication Group” that solves various challenges using all communication methods centered on PR thinking, we will accelerate the sustainable and dramatic growth of the group and aim for further enhancement of corporate value (visit the SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. website here).

We Held a “Kagami-biraki” Ceremony to Celebrate the Birth of the Holding Company!

Now, our annual New Year morning assembly tradition of inviting guests related to the zodiac began in 2015.
In 2015, we invited Mr. Albert von Lamb Chop, the sheep;
In 2016, we welcomed chick interns with an eye toward their growth over the coming year;
In 2017, we invited the fastest and largest bird species—the ostrich! Yes, the Ostrich Club members;
In 2018, we welcomed the beloved dogs of SUNNY SIDE UP members;
Last year, we invited Antoki no Inoki, playing on the word for wild boar.

This year, the Year of the Rat… you might be thinking a mouse would come, right? This year, we planned a slightly different event!
(A mouse mascot did visit… but it was a bit scary visually, so we won’t mention that…)

This year, following the saying “dumplings over flowers,” we wanted members to enjoy with their stomachs rather than their eyes, so we prepared six types of popular bento boxes from five bento shops in Shibuya Scramble Square, which we support with PR!

So many delicious-looking bento boxes! They all look so good, it’s hard to choose!

With delicious bento boxes to recharge their energy, all members were able to make a great start to the New Year!

This year is a “year of challenge and growth” for both Japan and our group!

With a fresh start under the holding company management structure, we will create “fun excitement” as we have before—or even more so.
