What was prepared as a reward for the winning team of the after-school internship “STEP2 ~Young Eggs Competition~” was…

Actually, there was a special reward for the winning team!
A special benefit unique to a PR company—here it is!
That’s right! It was a site visit to the press conference for “RockCorps supported by JT 2017,” which was recently announced!
This is a special course designed to let them experience how the press conferences seen on TV are structured and how they are transformed into news!
The photo shows everyone looking relaxed as it was taken after the conference, but
here is the actual scene!
While the after-school internship up to STEP2 was conducted in a lecture format, the tension at the actual site is completely different!
To briefly explain what happens on the day of the conference: before the actual event, a rehearsal is held to conduct final checks on the program, lighting, and sound. Final adjustments are also made throughout the venue, such as seating and camera platforms, with everyone performing final checks at their respective stations.
It is always a race against time before the event starts!
Once the press reception begins, we are busy guiding the media representatives who have checked in to their seats, explaining the positions of the performers to them, and answering various questions.
The interns also assisted with distributing materials at the reception and guiding guests to the venue.
Once the conference begins, we must remain constantly alert, monitoring the progress of the program while managing the next standby and the status of the performers.

The interns also watched the conference intently.
Regarding their impressions of participating, we received comments such as, “I was simply overwhelmed by the intense atmosphere,”
and “I still get
They were able to see a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes work of how we, as a PR company, deliver “valuable news” to the media.
As mentioned in the feedback, we were concerned that they might be overwhelmed by the high-pressure environment, but we chose this special experience to properly convey the nature of our professional work.
We hope this experience will provide hints for future career paths, not only for those aiming for the PR industry but for others as well!
Finally, a commemorative photo with Stephen Greene, CEO of RockCorps, and
Ryusuke Kelly, this year’s RockCorps MC!
With the tension gone, everyone has a wonderful smile!
This concludes this year’s after-school internship! Thank you very much to all the students who participated from STEP 1!
We look forward to meeting more wonderful students next time!
