Cheers with Disaronno Amaretto Liqueur on the weekend! The Central Kitchen transforms into the “Disaronno Bar”!

I am Koto from Public Relations Division 4. I live for my “Happy Friday Beer”—a drink at my desk every Friday as a reward to myself.
As an alcohol lover, I help with the PR for Disaronno, an Italian amaretto liqueur brand. Last weekend, we held an in-house event called “Disaronno Bar” at the Central Kitchen located in the heart of our office!
Before I introduce the event, do you all know the drink “Disaronno”? 🍹
WHAT IS DISARONNO?
Disaronno is an amaretto liqueur characterized by its unique bottle shape, symbolizing Italy as a land of art, along with its apricot kernel aroma and elegant sweetness. Since its birth in 1525, it has maintained its unchanging character and originality. Currently enjoyed in over 160 countries, the “Disaronno Fizz”—a refreshing cocktail made with soda and lemon juice—is a highly popular way to drink it worldwide.
Every year on April 19th, we celebrate “Disaronno Day,” a day dedicated to the passion for Disaronno, which has captivated generations across the globe. We wanted to celebrate it a little early with everyone, so we decided to hold this in-house event.

Now, let me share a glimpse of the event!
Seven types of cocktails and snacks to fully enjoy Disaronno!
Disaronno is enjoyed in various cocktails, from the recommended “Disaronno Fizz” to the sophisticated “On the Rocks.” For this event, we prepared seven different ways to serve it.
The hungry members were delighted not only by the drinks but also by the snacks that pair perfectly with cocktails. Salty appetizers such as prosciutto, marinated smoked salmon, and fried chicken were an excellent match for the sweetness of Disaronno.
By the way, my personal recommendation is the “Disaronno & Ginger,” made with dry ginger ale! The sweetness and spice match perfectly, so please give it a try.
Lured by the delicious aroma of Disaronno and snacks, a crowd gradually gathered in the kitchen…!

The bottle has such a stylish design that you’ll naturally want to take photos of it. It is sure to look great at girls’ nights out or home parties!

On the day of the event, the Disaronno representative, who has over five years of experience as a bartender, treated us to a luxurious time by preparing and serving cocktails right before our eyes.
I was mesmerized watching them skillfully craft authentic cocktails using ingredients like lemon slices, dried apricots, and goji berries.
“Disaronno Velvet,” released last December, is a cream liqueur with a milky and smooth texture. If you aren’t a fan of overly sweet liqueurs, please try it with espresso! The bitterness of the espresso transforms it into a sophisticated cocktail instantly.
The event ended with great success!
Before we knew it, there was a pile of empty bottles in the kitchen…!
In the end, over 100 drinks were ordered. (I heard some enthusiasts even completed the entire menu! lol)
After the event, the SSU PR team received requests saying, “We definitely want to do this again with different drinks or products!” It feels like many more events will be held in the future. 🖐Keep an eye out for future events at the Central Kitchen!
And on the upcoming 19th, let’s all celebrate the real “Disaronno Day” by having a drink! ✨
