Experience the Mediterranean Dance Exercise “BAILA BAILA”!

This time, we would like to introduce a special dance exercise called “BAILA BAILA” from a PR project involving SUNNY SIDE UP.

It’s so fun, you want to dance. When you dance, you become beautiful! Any exercise will show results if you continue it every day. But it’s hard, painful, and tedious, so you gave up halfway through…
“BAILA BAILA,” the Mediterranean-style new sensation dance exercise we are introducing today, was created for those who have had such experiences.

“Fun yet effective!” “Simple yet fat-burning!” Aiming for such a “delicious exercise,” the workout has been arranged to be more danceable, making it more enjoyable and energetic to dance to.

Moving to Latin rhythms while consciously working areas of concern such as the waist and hips makes it effective for body shaping! Because it’s a danceable “exercise,” you can continue it enjoyably, and by continuing, you can achieve fat burning and calorie consumption.

To actually experience “BAILA BAILA,” we visited a dance studio in Daikanyama.
We would like to report on the experience!

The lesson was led by Yuriko Ito, “BAILA BAILA” supervisor and coordinator.

First, we learned the basic steps while doing a light warm-up.
By the way, most of the members participating this time were dance beginners!
In fact, some members had not exercised in a long time, but thanks to Ms. Ito’s bright and cheerful personality, we started in a relaxed atmosphere.

Gradually, we started moving our upper body as well, and movements using the entire body increased.

When movements that changed body direction while stepping were introduced,
some members became confused about which way to face.

They look like they’re having so much fun!

As they moved, the members became more accustomed to it and gradually got into the groove!
They even had the energy to call out in sync with the poses!!

With many twisting poses, you can really feel it working on your waist!

Once we learned all the choreography, we finally danced to the music, connecting all the movements we had learned.

We repeated the choreography 3 to 4 sets per song, so it was quite a workout!
Everyone worked up a good sweat.

After the 60-minute lesson that flew by,
all the participating members took a photo together.

A participating member commented,
“I was drenched in sweat just from dancing! Even someone like me with no confidence in dancing enjoyed it (laughs).”

By the way, I accompanied them as the photographer, but it looked so fun that I was itching to join in and dance (laughs). I definitely want to participate next time!

This time, we learned two mid-tempo songs that are easy for beginners to dance to, but there is a wide range from upbeat songs to cool ballad-style songs, so being able to choose according to your preference is also part of the appeal of “BAILA BAILA”!!

“BAILA BAILA” is currently offered as a program at 210 fitness clubs nationwide. If you want to try it but are worried about whether you can keep up with a fitness program lesson right away, there are also lesson DVDs available, so you can easily start at home while playing the DVD♪
Of course, you can also use them for review before or after actually going to a lesson!
