Starting Our 33rd Fiscal Year! Aiming to Create “Joyful Excitement” in Society This Year Too!

Starting in July, we at SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP entered a new fiscal year!
As is our annual tradition, the new fiscal year begins with a strategy presentation for the entire group.
This year’s venue was here!!
We rented out an entire movie theater screen!
Every year, we’ve used conference rooms or hall screens to present each group company’s activities, enthusiasm for the new fiscal year, and the “Most Valuable Joyful Excitement (MVT)” awards, but this time we created videos and screened them.
Of course, when SUNNY SIDE UP does something, we go all out!
We got Tsugihara, who is famously camera-shy and was throwing a tantrum saying “I won’t do it!” right up until the last minute, to stand in front of the camera,
and we created a company credo song (theme song) and recorded it,
and even made a music video for it…
We did all of this seriously and with full commitment! (laughs)
We were relieved that the team members found it entertaining.
Tsugihara’s desire was that, just for this day, the members who usually work so hard to create “joyful excitement” for our clients could experience “joyful excitement” themselves!
The result was a strategy presentation filled with entertainment and surprises!
Over the past year, our group companies have grown, and we’ve welcomed many new members across SUNNY SIDE UP and the entire group.
With more members, we’ve expanded the scope of our challenges and refined our “joyful excitement,” making this a year where we truly felt the company’s growth. However, we also found it increasingly difficult to share the company’s vision and the individual visions of each group company.
To reconfirm what each company within the group does and what they’ve worked hard on over the past year, we chose this screening format.
Looking back at the group’s journey, we hope each member feels that they too have been part of moving society forward.
