Currently, SUNNY SIDE UP is recruiting part-time staff.

While our PR communications industry may appear to involve glamorous work, it also has a side that involves many mundane tasks. For example, conducting research, creating materials, handling shipping tasks… It is no exaggeration to say that our work is actually supported by the efforts of our part-time staff!

What does part-time work at SUNNY SIDE UP actually involve?

I’m sure many of you have this question, so we interviewed some of the part-time staff currently working with us at SUNNY SIDE UP!

The desk in the background is messy…

Currently, I am responsible for creating materials such as media lists and checking and documenting the media exposure of our affiliated athletes. I am still learning, but part-time work at SUNNY SIDE UP is very rewarding! I can now see the inside of events that I previously only viewed from the outside, and I’m living stimulating days. There are many things I can experience here that would be difficult to experience at other part-time jobs, and being able to acquire various skills is also a major benefit for me!

The background is still messy…

Currently, I am involved in work for the world’s first tiara designer “TARO KAMITANI.”
My main duties include data entry, product management, translation, checking and filing magazine features, and web research. Since I had no prior experience with office work, there were many things I didn’t understand, but the staff members provided careful guidance. Also, being able to observe everyone’s work attitude up close is stimulating, and my daily life is very fulfilling! SUNNY SIDE UP employees have a sincere and energetic approach to their work. I also have the impression that many of the women here are powerful. Currently, I have opportunities to use English, which is also helpful for studying business English, and my image of “work” has completely changed. I think of this as an excellent opportunity for personal growth and am working hard!

A bit cleaner

I perform desk work such as preparations for PR and sports-related events, and in addition to desk work, I also handle external-facing tasks such as media reception at press conferences, which is very rewarding! There are many things you cannot experience at ordinary part-time jobs (although sometimes it can be challenging), and the sense of achievement when you complete a task is exceptional! Through part-time work at SUNNY SIDE UP, I receive various stimuli every day and want to continue growing as a person.

So you’re a Miku fan.

I currently provide business support for event planning, production, and operations. Where should we hold this event to be most effective? What kind of production or mechanisms would make the event more newsworthy? Considering many such factors and creating a single event… I think it’s a job where you can feel a great sense of achievement.

There are many detailed tasks, but every day passes in the blink of an eye. The senior staff members provide guidance that is sometimes strict and sometimes kind, and I can feel my own growth. The staff members who have the high motivation to “Let’s Have Fun!” are very active and approach both work and play with full commitment. I don’t think there are many companies where meeting people is this enjoyable.

Finally…

This photo was taken when about 10 of us employees went camping on a day off. It’s a good memory where we were able to refresh both our minds and bodies. The experiences and connections with people you gain through part-time work at SUNNY SIDE UP will become invaluable assets for you.
