First in Japan! Dedicated Concierge Supports Employee Members’ Private Lives: “Your Concierge at SUNNY SIDE UP” Service Launched
Hello! This is O from the Public Relations Group. In this blog post, we will introduce our company’s new work style reform initiative, the first of its kind among Japanese companies!
The first initiative of its kind among Japanese companies… its name is “Your Concierge at SUNNY SIDE UP“! This initiative involves having a dedicated concierge stationed in our office to support the private lives of each employee member. We are the first Japanese company to implement this employee concierge service provided by TPO Inc.
An employee concierge service is one where a dedicated concierge is stationed in the office and handles various procedures and research on behalf of employee members, such as childcare consultations, nursing care consultations, and researching lessons and classes. Additionally, they propose ways to spend holidays, plan trips, and organize workshops and internal networking events tailored to the interests of our employee members.
In other words, through supporting private life, the goal is to “create an environment where employees can give their all to both work and personal life!” This is a service that many large corporations in France and the United States—countries that could be called “work style reform leaders”—have already adopted.

In 2011, before the term “work style reform” even existed, our company introduced our unique employee benefits program called “32 Benefits” based on the belief that “when work is fulfilling, personal life becomes fulfilling, and when personal life is fulfilling, it leads to better work.” We have incorporated unique programs such as private life enrichment leave including “Romance Challenge Leave,” “Heartbreak Leave,” and “Family Holiday,” as well as the “Happiness Won’t Come Walking” program to promote health maintenance.
Additionally, we have implemented various initiatives regarding “working,” such as introducing the “Tanokin” program that encourages taking “Premium Friday,” and “Happy Sunny Day,” which promotes off-site sales activities and remote work once a month to cultivate more creative thinking.
What we have valued throughout these efforts is “enjoying both work and personal life wholeheartedly.” When work is fulfilling, it leads to a fulfilling personal life, and when personal life is fulfilling, it leads to better work.
The team at TPO has advocated the concept of “work-life integration.” Rather than deliberately separating “work” and “personal life,” it is important to comprehensively support each employee member’s entire lifestyle. We at SUNNY SIDE UP resonated with this philosophy and began operating “Your Concierge at SUNNY SIDE UP.”

Male employee members can also receive nail care at the office! The service addresses employee members’ “wouldn’t it be nice if…” wishes.
Already, we have heard from employee members who have “consulted about restaurant options for business dinners,” “requested research on children’s lessons,” and “had tennis courts selected for internal club activities.” I am also planning to ask them to repair my worn bag. (^^)
