【Tokyo】 Tokyo Ramen Street “Midsummer Spicy Savory Fair”

When your appetite is low due to summer fatigue, you often find yourself craving spicy food. For those people, we recommend the “Midsummer Spicy Savory Fair” at Tokyo Ramen Street, a popular zone in the B1 floor of First Avenue Tokyo Station where famous ramen shops gather. 🌶️
In this second year of the fair, shops are offering spicy and savory menus using carefully selected spices. This includes “Furano Tomikawa,” the 7th installment of the “Local Ramen Challenge” project that brings flavors from famous shops across the country. You can choose from eight varieties, ranging from addictive numbing heat to a sharp spiciness that stimulates the appetite.
There is a “Spiciness Barometer” that allows you to choose a shop based on your preferred heat level, so even those who aren’t fond of overly spicy food can feel at ease! You are sure to encounter a bowl that can only be tasted here!

【Kyoto】 World Heritage Site Nijo Castle “NAKED Summer Festival 2023 World Heritage Site Nijo Castle”

The “NAKED Summer Festival 2023 World Heritage Site Nijo Castle” is an event held as part of “NAKED GARDEN ONE KYOTO 2023,” an art project for enjoying Kyoto in both real and virtual spaces.
The area is divided into three main sections! The first is an area with guided explanations of historical structures such as the Karamon Gate (an Important Cultural Property) and the Ninomaru Palace (a National Treasure). The second is the Inner Moat, where you can enjoy one of Kyoto’s largest projection-mapped fireworks displays. There is also an interactive time where the visual effects change based on the cheers of the visitors. The third is the Hyper Ennichi (Festival) area in the Kitchen Forecourt. Famous shops such as the Kyoto long-standing tea shop “Fukujuen” and food stalls supervised by the popular Tokyo restaurant “TREE by NAKED” gather here, offering shaved ice and alcoholic drinks. 🍹 Furthermore, there is a virtual project where historical figures associated with Kyoto appear via AR! You can fully enjoy a summer unique to Kyoto. 🌻

【Tokyo/Fukuoka】 Unko Museum TOKYO/FUKUOKA Summer Event “GO! GO! UNKO SUMMER 2023”

“GO! GO! UNKO SUMMER 2023,” a new summer tradition, has arrived at the Unko Museum—an “untertainment” facility that provides unprecedented experiences through the theme of “poop” (unko)!
The projection-mapped fireworks on a giant poop are a powerful sight that can only be seen here. Shouting “Unko!” instead of the traditional “Tamaya!” while watching the fireworks is sure to be a blast! As a new wave of summer fireworks festivals, the “Great Unko Fireworks Display” is bound to become a hot topic. Additionally, there are limited-edition goods perfect for summer and unko stickers available for those who follow their social media accounts. 🎁
In addition to the permanent flagship “Unko Museum TOKYO,” the event is also scheduled to be held at “Tadaima!! Unko Museum FUKUOKA presented by CHIKYUJIN,” which is open until Sunday, September 3, so look forward to it.
