Peaking into the in-house event! What is “Clase Azul,” a 100% agave premium tequila? The “Highest Quality Tequila” experienced by all!
Nice to e-meet you! I am Shinbo from Public Relations Division 1. This is my second year in the company! I was born and raised in the “Sea of Japan”, and I was recently impressed by the great match of tequila and sushi!
It is my third year as a working adult and recently I have learned the pleasure of enjoying a good alcohol! Today I would like to talk about the in-house event I hosted where people enjoyed the premium tequila from Mexico that I PR for, the “CLASE AZUL.”
At SUNNY SIDE UP, in order to make the world aware of the products and services of our various clients, we take it serious to understand the product and services ourselves, so we can think about how to promote it to people who don’t know.
It is also an important job for us to gather the opinions of our members as consumers through these in-house events and to seek ways to enjoy them.
Before I begin, I would like to ask if you have ever heard of “CLASE AZUL?”
“CLASE AZUL,” a premium tequila brand from Guadalajara, Mexico
▼What is CLASE AZUL
“CLASE AZUL” is the first Mexican luxury brand that communicates the beauty of Mexico and the true value of its traditions through the art of tequila, and adds color to the lifestyles of people around the world.
Even though mechanization has become the mainstream, in order to provide high quality craft tequila, the company still places importance on maintaining the traditional production methods that have been handed down for many years.
The eye-catching design of the bottles is handmade, from the molding of the ceramic to the painting, and most of the staff involved in the decanter production are women from the local community.
With the brand philosophy of “becoming better human beings” as its motto, the company engages in activities that encourage the empowerment of women in various ways.
Many people may be a little resistant to tequila because of the deep-rooted image of tequila = party drink. The in-house event was held mainly for the new graduates, with the aim of “Now that you are working adults, let’s climb the ladder to adulthood by enjoying tequila with the glass instead of drinking it with the shot!”
On the day of the event, Ms. Mochizuki, the public relations specialist of CLASE AZUL, also visited us and introduced the brand and tequila.
Tequila is divided into “premium tequila” made with 100% blue agave and “mixto tequila” made with at least 51% blue agave and the rest with molasses derived from sugar cane.
We were all surprised to learn that most of the tequilas we have had bad experiences with were “mixto tequilas,” which are widely distributed in Japan.
While listening to the explanation, we tasted the “CLASE AZUL,” a “premium tequila!”
I felt the full flavor and aroma of this special tequila, which is usually hard to experience.
Totally different aroma and taste! Two types of premium tequilas with lots of attention to detail!
“CLASE AZUL Tequila Plata” and “CLASE AZUL Tequila Reposado” were available on the day.
On the right, “CLASE AZUL Tequila Plata,” is a refreshing flavor created by skilled artisans, with a soft, sweet, and appealing taste to the senses.
On the left, “CLASE AZUL Tequila Reposado” is made from slow-heated blue agave, which gives it an aromatic and incomparable taste. It has a smooth original flavor with hints of hazelnut and vanilla.
This 100% agave premium tequila not only tastes great, but also looks very beautiful!
The ceramic bottles, each individually handmade with traditional feather paint in cobalt blue, are so attractive that you will want to display them as interior decorations.
“TACOS Shop IKEJIRI” offered a limited edition tacos menu for this day!
Chef Minori Hoshi of TACOS Shop IKEJIRI, a very popular restaurant in Ikejiri, Tokyo, also joined us on the day to prepare three special tacos and tamales (Mexican version of chimaki) to pair with the “CLASE AZUL” for this special day only!
The members were excited about this special limited menu item! The tortillas made of 100% corn, with whitebait and avocado, and with juicy meat. The luxurious pairing with CLASE AZUL tequila was a very satisfying experience.
The event ended with great success!
Tamako was also in love with the taste and the smell…Many of our members, including new graduates, enjoyed the event!
I hope you can also try out the “CLASE AZUL” yourself to experience this wonderful tequila!
