Introducing the runway show of a Ukrainian fashion brand, supported by Steady Study! | Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2023 SS

As some of you may know, “Fashion Week,” where new collections are unveiled through fashion shows and exhibitions, is held annually in cities around the world.

Celebrating the dawn of a new post-COVID era! Steady Study members introduce the 2022 Spring/Summer Fashion Week, filled with hope for the future and a positive mood!

In Tokyo, “Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO” (commonly known as “Tokyo Collection”) is held in March and August, organized by the Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFWO).

During this past August, Steady Study assisted in the management of a runway show for the Ukrainian fashion brand “LEVER COUTURE,” held at the Hyokeikan of the Tokyo National Museum. We are pleased to share the details with you!

LEVER COUTURE is a brand highly popular for red carpet appearances by prominent international celebrities and stage costumes for global artists. This was their first runway show to be held in Japan.

On the day of the event, we invited approximately 180 guests, including fashion media representatives primarily from mode fashion magazines and high-sensitivity fashion influencers.

The theme of this collection was “LELEKA” (stork), which symbolizes freedom and love in Ukraine. The show began with looks in white and red—the colors of the Japanese flag—and concluded with dresses in the Ukrainian colors of yellow and blue.

We were very pleased to witness this precious opportunity to present wonderful Ukrainian creations in Japan, independent of the complex global situation. We were deeply moved by the fashion show, which conveyed designer Lesya Verlingieri’s strong desire for peace.
