Now that the warm autumn has finally come to an end, it is the season when you start wanting a new scarf. Christmas decorations are beginning to appear around town, and some of you may be starting to think about how you will spend Christmas this year.

At all-day dining restaurant “bills,” originating in Sydney, Australia, a limited-time Christmas dinner course will be available at all eight locations in Japan from Friday, December 20 to Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Reservations are now being accepted via the official website and other reservation sites.

In Australia, the birthplace of “bills” and located in the Southern Hemisphere, Christmas arrives in the height of summer. It is known for its unique culture, such as beach parties and celebrations enjoyed in the refreshing summer air. This year’s Christmas dinner course is themed around pairings with carefully selected Australian wines, offering a lineup designed to let you experience an Australia-style Christmas.

“Save Our Souls Chardonnay” features rich aromas of white peach and pineapple. “Save Our Souls Sagrantino” offers deep plum and cherry flavors. These wines are born from Australia’s diverse climate and soils, unique to a country with vast, nature-rich landscapes. Enjoy Australian wines that combine power and finesse alongside delicious dishes.🍷

Kir Royale

Begin your dinner with a Kir Royale, known for its elegant, fruity taste. The fresh raspberries floating in a deep cassis-colored glass look like jewels.

STARTERS
Tuna Tartare

– Avocado cream, corn chips, lime & chili spice

A vibrant dish made with generous portions of fresh tuna. The corn chips served alongside are delicious dipped into the avocado cream as-is, or crushed to enjoy added texture with the tuna. Refreshing lime and spicy chili provide an accent, making it an excellent match with Australian wine.

Roasted Cauliflower

– Pickled onion, cashew satay

Served with a mellow, aromatic cashew satay sauce with curry notes, it is sure to whet your appetite. The cauliflower is roasted to a golden finish for a savory aroma, while the tang of the pickled onion creates an exquisite balance.

Roasted Cod

– Cherry tomato confit, zucchini, white beans, herb salsa

Red and yellow cherry tomatoes and green zucchini add vibrant color to the plate—perfect for the holiday table. The soup, richly made with chickpeas and infused with olive and basil aromas, is so delicious you will want to savor every last drop together with the lightly roasted cod.
