Third Edition of “Sani-sanpo”! Dagaya Sandou, Near the New National Stadium, Is a Mecca for Sports!? Featuring Stylish Sports Shops!
Sani-sanpo is a feature where our PR team members stroll through “Dagaya Sandou,” a currently trending spot near our head office!
With the PyeongChang Paralympics about to begin, the streets of Tokyo are also building excitement toward the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
Dagaya Sandou, located near the New National Stadium under construction, is actually home to numerous sports-related shops. This time, we introduce some of these stores!
The first place we visited was “Rapha Tokyo,” about a 10-minute walk from our office.

From the outside, it looks like a stylish café, but when you look downstairs,
it’s actually an apparel shop selling cycling wear!
Furthermore, this shop serves as the Tokyo branch base for the Rapha Cycling Club (RCC).
RCC is the world’s first international cycling community where passionate road riders who love cycling gather, actively engaging in rides, races, and other activities. Member-exclusive goods were also available in the shop!

(Between you and me, the goods were so stylishly pink that I wanted to become a member just for that reason…)
Dagaya Sandou, surrounded by greenery in the heart of the city, is the perfect location for cycling!
You could stop by Rapha after a ride and chat with people who share the same hobby at the café on the first floor.
Next, we visited “narifuri tokyo,” about a 2-minute walk from Rapha!
This shop is a fusion of a bicycle shop and an apparel store, and once you step inside, a stylish space unfolds that doesn’t feel like a bicycle shop at all.
They also offer bicycle rentals, making it the perfect shop for those who want to explore the Dagaya Sandou area efficiently and enjoyably!
If you venture a bit further, you can enjoy cycling in Yoyogi Park.
narifuri’s apparel line reflects the creators’ desire to value both design and functionality when riding a bicycle.
As you proceed further inside, you might be momentarily confused, thinking “Is this a suit shop!?”, but of course, these are also for cycling.
This is a high-end business line designed to allow working men to commute by bicycle comfortably and stylishly.
Just as our team members’ stomachs started rumbling,
we were drawn in by the delicious-looking menu and entered “LORANS.“!
This shop is actually a flower shop!
At the café inside, you can enjoy flower-motif smoothies and vegan food sandwiches made with carefully selected ingredients.
We ordered toast with flower petals (surprisingly, a male team member chose this lovely menu item).

And a Caesar salad and soup set!
So Instagram-worthy…!!
And it’s healthy yet delicious—I could eat this every day.
This café was created with the concept of supporting working women, and true to those words, it’s a space that makes you want to come for lunch to relax during work breaks.
This shop is engaged in the Flower Ring Project (a florist’s social contribution project), and as part of this initiative, they actively hire people with disabilities and work to transform flowers into recycled paper.
Not only do they sell beautiful flowers that accompany important moments in daily life, but they are also a wonderful flower shop that contributes to society through these efforts.
Satisfied by exciting sports shops and healthy lunch, the team members returned to the office, looking forward to what shops they might encounter next.
The next Sani-sanpo is planned!? Stay tuned!!!
