SUNNY SIDE UP’s 32nd term has begun! We look forward to your continued support as we create more “fun and exciting news” this term.
Hello, this is PR Sunny-chan!
As we posted on SUNNY SIDE UP’s Facebook and Twitter last week, our 32nd term officially commenced on July 1! On this day, the entire SSU Group gathered for a strategy presentation.
Last year was a milestone year as we celebrated our 30th anniversary. This term marks our 32nd year, which we like to call the “Sunny (32)” year (laughs).
Our president says she isn’t the type to celebrate every milestone anniversary, but for this year’s 32nd term strategy presentation, she wanted to do something a little special…
So, we created a brand image video for SSU!
We went with a slightly cooler, more stylish version this time. What do you think?!
The video played at the beginning, and everyone watched with great intent (laughs).
Following the video, the president spoke passionately about her thoughts on the previous and current terms, before moving on to presentations from each group company and business division.
With some using slides and others using video, the presentation styles reflected the unique personality of each company, making for a very interesting and informative strategy session.
The second part of the event was a standing buffet party! We all celebrated the start of the 32nd term together.
During the “Most Valuable Fun & Exciting News 2016” awards, winners were announced for the “Like!” category, the MVT Project category, and the President’s Award.
Remarkably, the head of the Media Relations Department won both the “Like!” award, which is decided by employee votes, and the President’s Award!
The Media Relations Department plays a vital role in delivering our clients’ products and services to the media as “valuable news.” This department is one of SUNNY SIDE UP’s core strengths, boasting the largest number of staff and many young talents, and he has been a reliable leader for them over the past year.
He is a manager who is greatly admired by his subordinates and juniors. (Though he looks a little embarrassed… laughs).
Additionally, essayist Hiroko Iijima, who is represented by our company, stopped by to join us, making it a truly “fun and exciting” gathering!
What kind of year will the 32nd term be? Please look forward to the “fun and exciting news” from SUNNY SIDE UP this year!
