A Sendagaya boom!? Introducing Sendagaya’s restaurants
Hello!
I am Yamashita from the PR team.
I love magazines and read nearly 100 issues every month.
Among those magazines, there was a phrase that caught my attention from late 2013 into early 2014, so I would like to share it with you.
(It was quite a while ago. I will cover more recent topics another time!)
“Sendagaya Casual”

Everyone,
are you familiar with Sendagaya, where SUNNY SIDE UP is located?
Compared with areas such as Roppongi, Shinjuku, and Shibuya, I had thought Sendagaya was not a widely known major area nationwide, but
it is getting a little attention!?
Indeed, it is not overly crowded like Shinjuku or Shibuya, and it is calm and easy to work in.
When changing jobs or starting a new role, I believe a company’s location is also somewhat related to your work style.
Many people may consider where they work to be important…
(One of my friends admired the “Marunouchi office lady” lifestyle and works in Marunouchi.)
So today, I hope to share the appeal of Sendagaya, which is surprisingly not well known.
I will share it in a “restaurants” edition!
First, here is a well-known café that frequently appears in the media, especially among younger people (high name recognition).
“GOOD MORINING CAFÉ”
(Good Morning Café)
Nearest station: Sendagaya (JR)

At this café, where you often spot celebrities, there are many stylish people.
Recommended when you want a relaxed lunch. The food is also delicious, making it a go-to lunch café.
It is open from 7:00 AM, so I sometimes work or study there before heading to the office.
A coffee stand that has been a hot topic lately.
BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR coffee kiosk
(Be a Good Neighbor Coffee Kiosk)
Nearest station: Kita-Sando (Fukutoshin Line)

The space is small, so you cannot really linger, but the coffee brewed right in front of you is exceptional!
The easy-to-grab sweets are also delicious.
A mysterious place that somehow lifts your spirits just by visiting.
It has been featured in magazines and various other media.
If you want Italian for lunch, this is the place.
Tantabocca
Nearest station: Kita-Sando (Fukutoshin Line)

It is always extremely crowded at lunchtime.
When I feel stuck, I have tea for a change of pace.
Monmouth Tea
Nearest station: Sendagaya (JR)

A specialty takeout tea shop.
The name apparently comes from “Monmouth Street,” which they saw in Covent Garden, England.
It is a bit closer to Yoyogi, though…
Yoyogi VILLAGE by kurkku
(Yoyogi Village by kurkku)
Nearest station: Yoyogi (JR)

This is also a recommended spot.
I often stop by the bakery in the morning, buy freshly baked bread, and head to work.
There are also several restaurants, so you can relax there.
Do not miss the plants produced by Seijun Nishihata, known as a “plant hunter”!
You can experience an otherworldly atmosphere, and the abundant greenery is soothing.
I am not interested in trendy places!
For those who feel that way, there are various set-meal restaurants near the office, and there are also coffee shops.
Doro Ningyo
Nearest station: Sendagaya
(If you are interested, please try searching for it.)
I picture gentlemen smoking inside, reading weekly magazines while having their meals.
The food had a nostalgic flavor and was delicious.
(Although I have only been there a few times…)
What did you think?
When you stop by our office, please be sure to visit somewhere.
By the way…
The best thing about having our office in Sendagaya is that you can save money… maybe? (Laughs)
There are fewer temptations like shopping, so you can go straight home! (Laughs)
