Have you ever had the experience of reading an illustrated book when you were a child? The more you know, the more interesting the mysterious ecology of living creatures or the spectacular natural phenomena of some faraway country. I am sure that many of you remember that “thrilling” feeling of being exposed to a new world just by turning the pages.
This summer, a new type of hands-on facility will open that will allow visitors to enter the world of illustrated books! SUNNY SIDE UP is also involved in the operation of “ZUKAM MUSEUM GINZA powered by Shogakukan’s NEO “.

A new interactive digital museum will open on the 6th floor of Tokyu Plaza Ginza on July 14, 2021 (Wednesday). The name of the museum is “ZUKAM MUSEUM GINZA powered by Shogakukan’s NEO . Visitors will be able to enter a world where creatures selected from Shogakukan’s NEO Series” have been digitally visualized, and experience and learn about realistic ecosystems and “nature” that cannot be conveyed through illustrated books alone. The facility is an experience-type facility where visitors can experience and learn about real ecosystems and “nature” that cannot be conveyed through illustrated books alone.
Shogakukan, which has stimulated children’s creativity with its abundant content, including the Shogakukan’s NEO series, as well as Sasaki Holdings Co., Ltd., AID-DCC Inc., Drill Inc., DENTSU INC., and the The Asahi Shimbun Company, all of which support the concept, participate in the “Zukan Museum Limited Liability Partnership” established for this museum. As the catchphrase “walk, encounter, feel, and go find” suggests, while walking around the space where the digital and real worlds are fused together, you will encounter creatures you could only see in illustrated books, feel their breath, and then go on to encounter other creatures, an experience like being immersed in the world of illustrated books. You can have such an immersive experience in the world of illustrated books.
A wide variety of creatures have been selected from the “Shogakukan’s NEO” series. Visitors can encounter a variety of creatures that make up the “nature of the earth” at any time of the year.
