We provided 220 complimentary “bills” meals to the National Center for Global Health and Medicine.

Hello, this is Sunny-chan from Public Relations.

bills,” the all-day dining concept from Sydney, Australia, operated by our group, provided 220 complimentary bills meals to the National Center for Global Health and Medicine today, Friday, May 22, (Fri). This initiative was launched to express our respect for the healthcare professionals who continue to fight on the front lines amidst the ongoing global turmoil caused by the spread of COVID-19.

The complimentary “Buttermilk Pancakes w/ Smoked Bacon, Pineapple, and Maple Syrup”

The menu featured the “Buttermilk Pancakes w/ Smoked Bacon, Pineapple, and Maple Syrup,” a limited-edition dish previously served at bills Waikiki, specially prepared for this occasion.

We planned this initiative with the hope of providing some physical and mental rest for healthcare workers, reflecting on what we can do as a restaurant in these circumstances. Moving forward, we also plan to provide complimentary bills meals to designated medical institutions for infectious diseases in Fukuoka, where we have a location.

Delivery to the National Center for Global Health and Medicine

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, bills temporarily closed all 8 domestic locations starting Monday, April 6, (Mon). However, we have been gradually resuming operations since Wednesday, May 13, (Wed), while implementing thorough infection control measures. For more details, please click here.

Furthermore, to allow customers to enjoy bills cuisine at home, we will launch the brand’s first takeaway menu starting Tuesday, May 26, (Tue). During these uncertain times, we hope to bring the enjoyment of bills meals to as many people as possible.

SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP will continue to provide proactive support, starting with what we can do, to overcome the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic together with everyone.
