Today, we bring you breaking news from an event we just attended!
As introduced in SUNNY SIDE UP’s “News” section, “CRAFT SAKE WEEK” produced by Hidetoshi Nakata was held today. This is a sake event where 100 renowned breweries representing Japan take turns exhibiting 10 breweries per day, allowing visitors to fully experience the appeal of Japanese sake! Here is our report!
A village of stalls was set up at Roppongi Hills Arena. Blessed with good weather, everyone is leisurely enjoying Japanese sake.
This period is apparently the peak season for sake brewing, so visitors can enjoy freshly made Japanese sake!
The first day features 10 breweries from the “Fukushima Dream Team.” We are excited to see what sake we can enjoy!
At the event, you can directly ask brewery owners and sake sommeliers about how to enjoy and select Japanese sake, so even as a sake beginner, I was able to choose with confidence. It is rare to have the opportunity to interact with brewery representatives, making this a valuable experience!
At the event, Hidetoshi Nakata himself walked around the venue, enjoying Japanese sake while speaking directly with brewery representatives. Perhaps he was asking about this year’s quality?^^
And what is essential to Japanese sake is excellent cuisine! 
This time, five popular restaurants are exhibiting and have created “limited special menus” that pair well with Japanese sake!
We selected Japanese cuisine, but French and Italian restaurants are also exhibiting, so you can enjoy Japanese sake in various ways!
Despite being a weekday afternoon, many customers came because carefully selected Japanese sake was gathered. In the evening, it will likely be bustling with businesspeople on their way home from work!
