Introducing the truly delicious dinner menu at bills, famous for the “world’s best breakfast”!!
Hello.
I am Yamashita from the Public Relations department.
Many of you may be enjoying your summer holidays—perhaps returning to your hometowns for Obon, relaxing, or keeping busy with family activities. We are open for business as usual!
At our company, employees can take five days of summer leave whenever they like between July and September. It is a great system that allows us to take time off during Obon to match family and friends’ schedules, or in early July or September when travel costs are lower (at least, that is what I think).
Today, I would like to share some information about bills, which I highly recommend visiting during the Obon holidays!

Inside Decks Tokyo Beach
Our casual dining restaurant, bills, has been featured in numerous media outlets as the provider of the “world’s best breakfast.”
Thanks to this, our breakfast and lunch menus, such as pancakes and scrambled eggs, have become famous and are enjoyed by many. I often visit bills for breakfast or lunch myself, and the salad, scrambled eggs, and pancakes are my go-to choices.
I imagine many of you also visit bills for breakfast, lunch, or brunch.
However, when a friend from Hiroshima recently came to Tokyo for sightseeing, they requested to have dinner at bills and bombarded me with questions about the menu and what tastes best.
Dinner…
Upon reflection, I realized I had never actually had dinner at bills. What should one order for dinner? What is delicious? Despite the restaurant being operated by my own company, I was embarrassed to find I did not know the answers…

..
How embarrassing!
I wanted to find out which dinner items at bills are truly delicious!
Since one of my colleagues in the same year handles PR for bills, I invited them to dinner to learn which menu items are the best. (I figured that what a PR representative, who has tried every item on the menu, chooses to eat on their own time and at their own expense must be truly delicious!)
We decided to eat after a meeting at Fuji TV and met at the bills Odaiba location. Although my colleague ended up opening their laptop to catch up on work, we were able to enjoy a leisurely weekday dinner while looking out at the night view of Odaiba and the glowing Rainbow Bridge. It was a truly luxurious time.
Here are the dishes we enjoyed!
(Shared between two very hungry women)
First up:
Potato and beet fritters w/ dill, sour cream, and gravlax salmon
The potato and beet fritters were crispy, with a novel color and texture. I was very satisfied, especially since they included my favorite bills salmon! I thought the sauce was mayonnaise, but it turned out to be sour cream, which added a light, fluffy, and perfectly salty accent (it even contained kelp-pickled cucumbers!).
I also looked up beets and found they are packed with nutrients that are great for women.
Next…
Fried calamari w/ green papaya and Vietnamese dressing
This was absolutely delicious!! The fragrant calamari was very appetizing. The green papaya has a mild flavor and is best described as something to be enjoyed for its texture. It provides a refreshing balance to the fried calamari, making it easy to eat. I became addicted to the crunchy texture of the green papaya. I will definitely order this again. I can’t wait to have it once more!
Linguine w/ prawns, arugula, and chili

It looks even more delicious in person…
It is exactly as it looks—packed with plenty of large, plump prawns. The slight bitterness of the arugula provides a wonderful accent when eaten with the pasta. I heard this is also a favorite of our company’s Executive Vice President.
Shrimp burger w/ jalapeño mayonnaise, radish, and Korean dressing
Surprisingly, this burger is a unique dish that you wrap in lettuce and dip in a Korean-style dressing. It is healthy and highly recommended for women who want to eat their vegetables, though the downside is that it is a bit difficult to eat. Since your hands might get messy, a standard burger might be better for a date (I wouldn’t mind it on a date myself, but I might avoid it during a business meal).
We were quite full by this point, but we kept eating! (Laughs)
Ricotta hotcakes w/ fresh banana and honeycomb butter

You can see the hotcakes in the background!
We finished with hotcakes for dessert! There were three, so we shared them. The flavor of bills’ hotcakes is something you can’t find anywhere else, so they are a must-order. Ending a meal with dessert and coffee significantly increases the level of satisfaction. (Pure bliss!!)
Finally…
What did you think of dinner at bills?
(Since this is a company project, I cannot deny that it might feel a bit like “stealth marketing”…)
bills is recommended not just for breakfast and lunch, but for dinner as well!
While I previously associated the restaurant with Western dishes like scrambled eggs and pancakes, I was surprised to find many Asian-inspired menu items. It was delicious, stylish, and relaxing—a truly satisfying experience!
To be honest, there are many other delicious items beyond what I introduced today, but I hope you use this as a reference to enjoy a relaxing dinner.
Since they also serve alcoholic beverages like beer and cocktails, these portions might be a bit large for those who prefer to eat while drinking slowly.
And…
Since it was evening, there were many couples in the restaurant.
While looking at the beautiful, sparkling night view of Odaiba—the kind that makes you imagine a couple saying, “It’s just like our bright future together” (though perhaps no one says that these days…)—the two of us had dinner (mostly talking about work, both of us single).
Just then, to our surprise!
Our Executive Vice President, who happened to be dining at bills, appeared and treated us to dinner! It seems that dining at a restaurant operated by your own company increases the chances of running into management and being treated to a meal—quite a nice perk.
(By the way, SUNNY SIDE UP employees also receive a benefit of one free drink at bills.)
Odaiba, night views, bills, and dinner—it was the epitome of living the good life!
Please visit during the Obon holidays or on the weekend!
