What is 50 Top Pizza
50 Top Pizza is an Italy-based network that disseminates the latest trends in pizza culture, which continues to evolve around the world. The annually published rankings select the finest pizza restaurants in the culinary field and introduce their high quality from various perspectives.
It is also a major mission to honor chefs who create unique pizzas with exceptional skill and creativity, and to deliver the diverse flavors they produce to the world. The organization contributes to the development of the entire industry by further spreading the appeal of pizza, a dish loved worldwide.
Scenes from the Ceremony
On the day of the award ceremony, chefs selected for the top 50 in the Asia-Pacific region gathered from various locations at the Italian Cultural Institute in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
Upon entering the venue, surrounded by chefs from various countries, the atmosphere was lively, as if being abroad. When the ceremony began, chefs’ names were called in order from 50th place. Each announcement was met with applause and cheers, and it was very impressive to see everyone smiling for commemorative photos. While there was tension, the friendly atmosphere among everyone was a point that differed from typical award ceremonies.
In addition to the top 50, special awards were also announced, including “Best Customer Satisfaction 2025 – Glass by Glass Award,” “Performance of the Year 2025 – Robo Award,” and “Best Pasta Proposal 2025 – Pastificio Di Martino Award.”
