March 8th is International Womenâs Day! Take a day to care for and appreciate your own bodyđ Our unique welfare system â32 initiativesâ has been updated too!
Hello, this is Sunny-chan from the Corporate PR department.
If I recall, the time of graduation was warm and pleasant with cherry blossoms blooming, but this year, the weather remains chilly, making us hesitate to change our clothes for the new season.
International Womenâs Day, a day to celebrate and appreciate women worldwide, has arrived again this year, as the Spring season comes.đź
The SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP has been promoting International Womenâs Day through initiatives such as providing support for female members to have more options in their life choices. This includes offering assistance for egg freezing through the âDear WOMAN Program,â which has been part of our welfare benefits since 2015.
Now, allow me to introduce our initiatives for this year.đť
March 8th, International Womenâs Day, is âHealth Cure Day – A day to care for your body.â
Starting this year, the SSUG encourages taking paid leave on March 8th for International Womenâs Day, known as âHealth Cure Day – A day to care for your body.â đ During the 8 days from March 1st to 8th, which is designated as âWomenâs Health Weekâ by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, we encourage taking leave.
On International Womenâs Day, we encourage not only women but all members to take time to focus on their physical and mental well-being, to âcureâ their bodies. This reflects our commitment to promoting wellness for everyone.

Our office also celebrates this day.đ
On March 8th, we brightened up our office kitchen with beautiful mimosa flowers đź Mimosa, known as the “flower of happiness” in Europe, is also a symbol of International Women’s Day because it blooms from February to March. Its cheerful yellow color, like our corporate yellow, adds a touch of liveliness to our office and encourages celebration with partners, families, and friends.
At the end of the day, we made small flower bouquets available so that everyone can take home a piece of International Women’s Day celebration.đ
Moving forward, SSUG will continue to utilize PR communication activities to create a society where everyone can experience “fun buzz.” đł
You don’t have to do anything special. Instead, why not take International Women’s Day as an opportunity to express gratitude to yourself and those around you, and to reflect on a society where everyone, including women, can thrive?
