Entries for one of those awards, the Golden World Awards, are now being accepted! So here it is!
What is the International Public Relations Association (IPRA)?
The International Public Relations Association (“IPRA”), introduced in the article above, is a worldwide PR association officially accredited by the United Nations. SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP President Tsugihara has been appointed President of the IPRA since January 2022, and SUNNY SIDE UP has been serving as its administrative office in Japan.
And the Golden World Awards 2022, an international award organized by IPRA, will accept entries of outstanding PR activities, projects, and communication campaigns from Japan and abroad until Monday, May 9, 2022!

What are the Golden World Awards?
Established in 1990, the Golden World Awards is one of the PR industry’s most prestigious international awards, with entries received from all over the world every year. 38 different categories are open for entry, including the IPRA Grand Prix, the highest award, and this year’s award, the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), which are defined by the United Nations as “the most important social and economic development goals of the 21st century. This year’s awards will recognize outstanding PR activities from a variety of perspectives and categories, including the IPRA Overall Grand Prix, the highest award, and a special award for a campaign that symbolizes “Peace and Justice for All,” one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by the United Nations.
Applicants are not limited to corporate PR professionals, companies and projects that provide consulting services for brand building, reputation management, etc., PR and marketing firms, NGO groups and associations, but also government, university, and educational institutions are welcome to apply.

Award Summary
Application deadline: Monday, May 9, 2022
Eligibility: All companies and organizations (both operating companies and agencies) involved in various fields of communications, including corporate communications, internal communications, brand building, reputation management, etc.
Entry fee: Regular entry: Tuesday, March 22 – Monday, April 18, 2022 £370
Late Entry: Tuesday, April 19 to Monday, May 9, 2022 £400
Selection Process: First round (selection based on entry sheet)
Second round of selection (selection based on supporting documents)
Announcement of winners: Winners in each category will be announced in July 2022
*The IPRA Overall Grand Prix and some other prizes will be announced at the awards ceremony scheduled to be held this fall.
