Shout out your thanks in the heart of the office! Valentine’s Day Event Held to Say “Thank You” to Each Other
Hello, everyone! My name is Ayumi Hirahara. I’m in charge of the central kitchen!
February 14 was Valentine’s Day! So we held an event at the central kitchen in the middle of our SUNNY SIDE UP office!
This time, we would like to report on the fun and delicious time we had.
On Valentine’s Day, the sweet and savory foods that had been ordered and collected from the week before were all lined up in the kitchen. The members gathered around as if remembering “Oh yeah, Valentine’s Day!”. (PR people tend to forget about the actual day of the event, perhaps because they have been preparing for the Valentine’s Day sales season several months ahead…lol)
Let me introduce a few of these food items🍫
Chocolat baguette from DONQ
A very stylish baguette with a rich chocolate aroma, available only for Valentine’s Day. Inside, there were not only chocolates, but also cranberries and hazelnuts, giving it a tart flavor and rich texture! (This product is no longer available.)
LOTTE Ghana Series
“Ghana Milk Chocolate” can be purchased at convenience stores at reasonable prices. The most popular flavor was the milk flavor of the Premium Ghana Fresh Chocolate!
Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser
Velvetiser is a chocolate drink maker that allows you to enjoy the authentic taste of chocolate at your office or home, just as if you were in a café. All you need is milk and special flakes, and it’s ready in about 2 minutes! We enjoyed the rich taste and elegant aroma of chocolate.
Send a Thank You! Wrapping & Message Booth
We set up a wrapping and message booth in the kitchen. We have prepared wrapping and message cards so that you can give your boss, your junior members who are working hard, and of course your favorite person(?) with a message of “Thank you for all your hard work!”
It is a warm feeling to express gratitude through a seasonal event, even if it is something you normally don’t get to say! (I was smitten by the way she earnestly wrote her message)
Valentine’s Day from Smile Keeper! Freshly baked crispy mini chocolate pies & mini wiener pies
Just in the evening when I was feeling a little hungry, I baked two kinds of mini pies using the kitchen oven!
First, mini chocolate pies.
We made them mini-sized so that they can be easily eaten in one bite.
And because we know that after something sweet, you feel like eating something salty, we also prepared mini wiener pies! Now you can eat them in an endless loop^^
The hungry members were filling their stomachs!
I made some original cookies!
Finally, with colorful chocolate pens, they returned to their childhood memories and decorated their original cookies. Some dexterously wrote messages of gratitude!
Not only for Valentine’s Day, you can express your feelings that you normally can’t say, or you can heal your hard-working self with sweet treats…(Be careful not to spoil yourself too much!)
We are planning to hold more kitchen events in the future, where you can feel the season even in the office. Can’t wait for next month’s White Day!
