The all-day dining restaurant “bills,” originating from Sydney, Australia, is holding “Hanami at bills” at all 8 domestic locations from March 14 (Mon) to April 17 (Sun), where guests can enjoy cherry blossom viewing at bills while admiring sakura blooming inside the restaurant, accompanied by cherry blossom-themed drinks!
During this period, cherry blossoms will be displayed throughout the restaurant, and two cherry blossom-themed drinks will be offered: “Cherry Blossom Soda” and “Cherry Blossom Gin.”
Due to infection control measures, activities such as reserving spots for cherry blossom viewing in public places like parks have been prohibited, making it difficult to enjoy hanami as desired. However, in an effort to share the changing seasons with our guests, bills locations nationwide are transforming into cherry blossom viewing venues for the first time.
The two limited-edition cherry blossom drinks were created by bills’ restaurateur, Bill Granger, to celebrate Japan’s cherry blossom season. “Cherry Blossom Soda” is a sweet and tangy, refreshing soda made with house-made syrup using cherry, plum, and thyme, combined with sparkling water and lemon juice. “Cherry Blossom Gin” is an original cocktail featuring the house-made syrup combined with bills’ house gin “The Botanist” and sake “Toyo Bijin” from Sumikawa Sake Brewery in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
