SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Held Its 37th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders!

Today, September 27th, the 37th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. was held at SYD Hall in Sendagaya, Shibuya Ward.

This marks the 37th shareholders’ meeting. As with last year, the meeting was held with consideration for the safety of our shareholders and staff to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Every year, the meeting is held in weather that signals the arrival of autumn, but this year brought slightly humid weather reminiscent of summer.

Today’s moderator was Mizutani, in her third year with the company, who usually serves as a media promoter, conveying the value of various products and services to media professionals on a daily basis.

The meeting began with a review of the Group’s activities during the 37th fiscal year.

Over the past year, in addition to communications in our core areas of strength—people, sports, commercial facilities, hotels, and entertainment—we were able to undertake projects in an even broader range of new fields.

For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, new technologies and products emerged rapidly. Communicating the future standard to the world as early as possible is also part of our “joyful commotion.”

Furthermore, changing the world through “joyful commotion” and creating hope for tomorrow through “joyful commotion” are themes we uphold. We have been working on activities related to common societal challenges, led by the “W society” project undertaken by Good and Company Inc.

We have also updated our internal systems in line with societal changes. Through the “Dear WOMAN” program, one of our 32 Benefits, we have been providing egg freezing subsidies since 2015. In addition, we have added subsidies for AMH testing, which measures ovarian reserve (an indicator of the number of follicles remaining in the ovaries).

Of course, infertility is not solely a women’s issue. We also began providing subsidies for semen analysis in July 2022. We aim to create a workplace where all members can work with peace of mind in both their professional and personal lives.

In this way, even under challenging circumstances, we were able to generate many “joyful commotions” last year.

And this fiscal year, as members of society, we shared our commitment to adapting to a changing world, believing in the “power to move people’s hearts,” and continuing to create many “joyful commotions” that lead to the future.

The shareholders’ meeting is a once-a-year opportunity to meet directly with our shareholders who support us. It was a day when all members resolved to work even harder this fiscal year and beyond.
