[Starting Our 38th Fiscal Year!] Group Fiscal Year Kickoff Meeting Report – This Year’s Theme: “NEW ERA” – Toward a New Age

Today, SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP has entered its 38th fiscal year!
Looking back, it was a year packed with numerous projects, new members joining, and socially good activities—it seemed to pass in the blink of an eye, yet it was incredibly fulfilling.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continued, each member kept working while thinking about how we could create “Let’s Have Fun!” moments and move people’s hearts.
And today has arrived… the “SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP 38th Fiscal Year Kickoff Meeting” was held!
For the past two years, members gathered online from their respective locations, but this year, for the first time in three years, we held the event at a movie theater! With thorough infection prevention measures in place, members from all group companies assembled together.
What was the content of this year’s kick-off meeting…?
The annual tradition “news32” 🥚, where SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP President and CEO Tsugihara appears as a news anchor to share reflections on the previous fiscal year and the outlook for the current year across the entire group.
This year, we welcomed two new anchors, transforming it into “New news32” with even more energy!
This program features interviews with representatives from each group company, presented as a parody of a certain news program.
This year, in addition to the new anchors, various members from within the company served as reporters, conducting surprise interviews with each company’s representative!
Filming took place over four days
The interviews with each company incorporated various segments tailored to their business and character, including a food report location shoot at bills Ginza and a fried egg topping championship (?), among others!
This year’s theme is “NEW ERA,” a new age. While continuing to maximize group synergy, which was also last year’s theme, we aim to make this a year where we can surpass our previous achievements.
We will work hard so that SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP can create a new era!
Announcing the SUNNY AWARDS!
Once again, we held the “SUNNY AWARDS” ceremony to honor projects that created excitement during the previous fiscal year. From all 15 nominated projects within the group, three projects received awards!
Congratulations to all members involved in the award-winning projects, and to everyone else as well—excellent work! We look forward to even more exciting initiatives this fiscal year 🎉
SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP will continue working hard to realize “Let’s Have Fun!” moments for many people.
