Poached Egg is a monthly gathering where anyone can become a “know-it-all.” We have shared its progress on SUNNY DAYS for the past 37 sessions, but we have now reviewed the format of Poached Egg. 🍳

Living in an information society, it is a vital part of a PR professional’s job to correctly capture the overflowing information and turn it into planning ideas. Within our company, a culture of constantly sharing fresh information is deeply rooted, and the reality is that information flies around so frequently that a monthly share is simply not enough…!
Therefore, we have experimentally renewed it as “Poached Egg Beta,” allowing for real-time sharing via messaging apps!!
Today, we will pick up and share some of the topics that have been circulating since the renewal 🥚 We should have even fresher information than when it was held once a month…?

In this modern age where new social media platforms are constantly emerging, trying out new things as soon as they appear might be an occupational hazard for PR professionals…!
One platform that has been gradually catching our attention is “Lemon8,” operated by the company behind TikTok. It is excellent because you can insert URLs into captions, and content is categorized by genre, allowing you to quickly find what interests you!!
Does it have outstanding potential as a PR platform?! We were all excited to start using it right away 🍋

Midjourney
The image-generation AI “Midjourney” is developed and provided by a San Francisco-based startup. It is a magical service where you simply enter keywords or phrases you want to turn into a picture, and an image matching that concept is generated!
Just as I noticed it appearing on Twitter and in conversations with various people lately, it was indeed a hot topic within Poached Egg as well!!
We thought, “Why not try making next year’s New Year’s card?” After the team experimented with various word combinations, this is what we came up with.

I thought it was quite cute…? But unfortunately, it was rejected. It seems like we could produce something of very high quality with more research 🥚🥚 Please give it a try yourselves.
Hiyoko (Chick) Filter

With the spread of remote work due to the pandemic, we often conduct business solely through text communication these days. Along with this, everyone has likely faced situations where they have to engage in stressful text exchanges and think, “I really don’t want to do this…”
In such times, you can use “Hiyoko Filter,” a service developed by the app development startup bondavi. It is an excellent tool that converts unpleasant strings of text into “piyo piyo (chirp chirp) 🐤,” helping to reduce the stress you receive.
Of course, even harsh comments on social media become “piyo piyo 🐤.” The chicks protect those of us who encounter many words in both our private and professional lives 🐤🐤🐤

Having been featured on a certain talk show, it seems this board game from the US is becoming a hot topic…? As we approach the fourth year of the pandemic, we are gradually able to gather with close friends, and “Otrio” is a board game you might want to enjoy then.
