[Start of the 37th Term] Group Kick-off Meeting Report! This year’s theme is “Group Synergy”

Hello, this is Sunny-chan from Public Relations! Half of the year has flown by, and summer is officially here.

Amidst this, SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP welcomed its 37th term on July 1, 2021! In this blog post, we will share highlights from the kick-off meeting held today.

The kick-off meeting has become an annual tradition. In the past, we have rented out movie theaters or enjoyed drinks together at restaurants, but this year, we once again held the event via a live online broadcast to ensure everyone’s safety.

The news program “news32,” where Tsugihara delivers “Let’s Have Fun!” news dressed as a newscaster, returned after a year! This project is a parody of a television program, featuring interviews with the representatives of each group company regarding their reflections on the previous term and their outlook for the current one.

The members watched over the President with a sense of security as she exuded the aura of a veteran announcer—perhaps even the “Chief of the Announcer Bureau” at a TV station.

This year’s theme is “Group Synergy.” By combining the strengths of the SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP companies, we believe we can turn 1 + 1 into 3, 4, or even 100.

While listening intently to important discussions regarding each company’s outlook and structure for this term, the floor was filled with uncontrollable laughter during the (fictional) commercial breaks featuring projects starring our own members. (laughs)

First-year employees who just joined the company this year also watched their seniors’ impressive performances.

SUNNY AWARDS held again this year! Recognizing the teams that created a “Let’s Have Fun!” stir in the previous term.

Next was the “SUNNY AWARDS” ceremony, which honors projects that created a particularly “Let’s Have Fun!” stir during the previous term. This is a famous internal event where prestigious projects are nominated every year.

This year, 16 projects were nominated from across the group companies, and 4 of those projects were presented with awards during the ceremony.

Congratulations to all the members of the award-winning projects!

During the event, there was also a moment where the LOVOT “Tamako” took a stroll through the award ceremony venue. (laughs)

We look forward to seeing many more projects that move the world by further combining the group’s strengths next year!
