SUNNY SIDE UP Held the 2022 Online Job Offer Ceremony! Overflowing with Individuality!? High Expectations for New Members Starting in April

While we were enjoying the refreshing autumn weather, a direct typhoon hit reminded us that the true autumn season has arrived.

In the midst of this, SUNNY SIDE UP Inc. held its 2022 Job Offer Ceremony, and we are pleased to report on the event!

The ceremony was attended by the prospective employees scheduled to join in April 2022 (as of October 1) and current internal members. While this ceremony is typically held with everyone gathered at the office, it was conducted online this year, as it was last year, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

This day also coincided with the October all-company morning assembly. At this meeting, attended by all members of the SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP, the prospective employees gave self-introduction presentations!

As part of the program, the first project the prospective employees worked on together was the “Self-PR Video Production.”

Inspired by a certain global sporting event, the content was styled as a promotional video where each member was introduced as an athlete, showcasing their individual personalities and strengths.

The videos, filmed at the Sendagaya office and locations meaningful to the members, were of such high quality that they surprised the colleagues they will soon be working with. We enjoyed watching them while feeling the limitless potential of our new members.

After that, the “Job Offer Ceremony” finally began!

The session opened with a congratulatory speech filled with encouragement from Kokubo, who recently assumed the role of President and Representative Director of SUNNY SIDE UP Inc., addressed to the prospective employees who are eager to create a “fun stir.”

“There have been many times when I wondered, ‘Does this really have any meaning?’ (laughs), but what becomes an opportunity and leads to the future depends on one’s own mindset. I believe that how you enjoy your work and turn it into a career is what leads to the next step.

I am sure your seniors will give you various advice, but I expect you to create work that is impactful enough to change SUNNY SIDE UP.”

Furthermore, Director Matsumoto shared, “Even for those who feel they don’t have a specific specialty or passion yet, I want you to strive to be an all-rounder. For example, decide on one thing you have never done before and try it. Try a form of communication you’ve never used. Write a letter, or look at media you’ve never seen. By trying new things in that way, I believe you will encounter something meaningful.”

Tsugihara, Representative Director of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP, concluded with warm words: “SUNNY SIDE UP’s assets are ‘information and human resources.’ Please gain as much experience as you can as students before joining us.”

The presentation of job offer certificates was also held.

Following the ceremony, an “Online Lunch Party” began.

Bento boxes from “La BOMBANCE,” a Japanese restaurant in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo, which is featured on the “NIHONMONO STORE” produced by Hidetoshi Nakata, and celebratory flowers from “LORANS.,” a florist in the Dagayasando area, were delivered to the homes of the prospective employees.

When the items arrived, we received messages of surprise and joy from the prospective employees saying, “It’s here!!” It was a moment of relief to see them so happy.

During the lunch party, we enjoyed conversation while sharing original profile sheets that delved deeper into the self-introductions given during the morning assembly.

It was a time where we could truly get to know the overflowing (!?) and unique personalities of the prospective employees through their self-PR and original videos, leaving us with nothing but a premonition that things will get even livelier starting next April! (laughs)

What kind of “new fun stir” will they create with their youthful experience and knowledge? All our members are looking forward to your joining the company.
