They are known as the “32 Benefits“!
These systems were recently recognized at the “with OL Awards,” a highly popular annual project by the women’s magazine “with” published by Kodansha, where we received the “Private Life Fulfillment Award”!


In this article, we will introduce the SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP’s welfare program, the “32 Benefits,” along with real feedback from our members.
What exactly are the “32 Benefits”?
Based on our slogan “Let’s Have Fun!”, these systems were designed to ensure that members can lead enjoyable and fulfilling lives. They reflect our desire to be a company where members can always work with excitement, featuring unique fun elements characteristic of SUNNY SIDE UP and ideas proposed by the members themselves.

You can take time off in these situations…! Introducing our unique leave policies
■ Heartbreak Leave
A system where it is acceptable to take time off from work after a breakup. Based on the idea that “a heartbreak significant enough to prevent one from coming to work is an important life experience,” this reflects the President’s wish for employees to clear their minds and move on to their next romance!

When there is news of a celebrity getting married, the President sometimes sends a company-wide email encouraging us to take “Heartbreak Leave” (laughs). To work healthily, it is important to take care of our private emotional well-being as well.

■ Family Holiday Policy
A system that allows members to take leave for trips, events, or when they want to show appreciation to their parents. This policy was born from the sentiment that we are able to work hard every day because of our families and the people who support us.

I used this system for my 3-year-old son’s excursions and sports days, allowing me to fully enjoy seeing his slightly more grown-up side that I don’t usually get to see. A great point is being able to take leave according to family schedules separately from summer vacation.

■ Wedding Anniversary Leave
A system that allows members to take leave on their wedding anniversary. We can focus on work because of the partners who support us. This system embodies the wish for members to make those important people happy. *Applications are also possible for common-law marriages.

In addition to the five days of special leave, I can take a day off every year on my wedding anniversary. To ensure we never forget our original feelings, we go on a date to the place where I was proposed to every year and I tell my partner, “Thank you for always supporting me.” It is a wonderful system that is also available to members in common-law marriages.

■ Partnership System
New-era employment regulations based on the philosophy of diversity, where members recognize and respect each other’s individuality. We recognize marriage and childbirth gift money and marriage leave even for same-sex and common-law marriages.
■ “Looking Forward to Working with You” Policy
A system that grants leave and a bonus to long-term employees.
The achievements of those who have continued to “Let’s Have Fun!” over many years and have passed down the SUNNY SIDE UP culture are immeasurable; the more leave you take, the more the bonus increases.

■ Dear WOMAN Policy
As one of the first Japanese companies to do so, we have started “subsidizing costs from egg freezing to storage.” By increasing options not only for how one works but also for how one lives, we provide backup so that members can live in a way that is true to themselves with greater peace of mind. We also participate in “W society,” a project designed to help women excel both physically and socially. Moving forward, we aim to be a company that increases options for women at various life stages, including job satisfaction, work-life balance, and pregnancy/childbirth.

I want to work hard, get married, and have children. Because I have a concrete vision, I felt that knowing my current self is truly important! The AMH test I learned about at an internal seminar related to egg freezing is one such tool. Having experienced it, I understand its importance! (Currently considering egg freezing)
