As you all know, March 2nd is Sunny Day! Which means, something is definitely going to happen…!?

To those of you who have been waiting, please rest assured. Here it comes…!

We are excited to bring you the latest news regarding SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP’s original welfare system, “32 Benefits”!

A quick review 💡 What are the 32 Benefits?

Based on the slogan “Let’s Have Fun!”, these systems were designed to ensure that members can lead a fulfilling life in a way that is uniquely SUNNY SIDE UP.

With systems such as “Fun Hub Creation Support,” “Romantic Match Leave,” “Heartbreak Leave,” “Birthday Leave,” and “Happiness Doesn’t Just Walk to You,” it truly embodies the spirit of SUNNY SIDE UP. In addition to comprehensive welfare, the system is filled with the unique fun of SUNNY SIDE UP, including ideas proposed by members themselves, reflecting our wish to be a company where members are always excited to come to work.【List of 32 Benefits】

It all started with this mysterious email…

Established in 2011, the “32 Benefits” is a welfare system by SUNNY SIDE UP, for SUNNY SIDE UP. It has been featured in numerous media outlets such as television and magazines, becoming a significant part of our identity—to the point where we feel it could be the most famous welfare system in the world (Guinness level?).

We received many ideas from members across the entire company, exceeding 32 in total!

For example:

There were members active as influencers and models, and even a mysterious media promoter who made it into the Twitter trends… (laughs)

The connection between protein and eggs is NICE!

IPPON!!

I definitely want to create a 37 (Sauna) system…!

Wonderful, with such a dedicated illustration…!

A proposal for a system that offers privileges not only to women but also to men.

A big round of applause to the members who came up with more than eight unique ideas 👏✨, such as the “Drinking Party Voucher” system to make it easier for juniors (who often hesitate because they are usually treated) to invite seniors out for drinks, the “Workation Subsidy System” for remote work at client hotels or facilities, and the “Warrior Training (Exchange) System” for studying at overseas partner companies.

And so, we gathered wonderful feedback that we would like to carefully coordinate and adopt internally 😢

And here is the list of the newly reborn 32 Benefits! There are 5 key points!

Making “Preconception Care” the norm. Introducing subsidies for AMH testing costs into welfare benefits (scheduled for implementation in April)

As a company embodying Diversity & Inclusion, we have revamped system names from the perspectives of SDGs and LGBTQ+!

The “TKG System,” which welcomes anyone visiting the office with free Tamago Kake Gohan (egg over rice)

The “Suni-Kari” system to promote a sharing economy among members

The “Sustainable” system where the company supports eco-friendly actions

With the hope that “preconception care”—knowing and caring for one’s own body even for those not undergoing fertility treatment—becomes common in society, SUNNY SIDE UP, which has many female members, is adding the “AMH Testing” subsidy system!

Furthermore, as a company embodying Diversity Inclusion, we are making significant changes to promote an environment where each individual can work in their own way. This includes adding a “Child-rearing Support” system for marriages between members and revamping the names and content of the previous “Otoko-do Up” and “Onna-do Up” systems!

These feasible systems were created on an incredible schedule of just two weeks from application to implementation by:

Ms. Yumi Ya from the Account Planning Department and Mr. Kazuki Kusunoki from Department 1! We will present both of them with a gift worth 32,000 yen 👏✨

Looking back over 11 years of history, our members’ perspectives have always been ahead of the curve!

This marks the first major update in 11 years, but during that time, we have continuously and speedily updated the system by reflecting member feedback to match diversifying work styles.

For example, we have memories of being among the first to launch initiatives like the Premium Friday “Tanokin System” added in 2017 (where beer is still all-you-can-drink at the Central Kitchen from 3:00 PM!) and the “World’s Earliest Year-End Workday.”

Through the “Dear Woman System,” which in 2015 became the first private company initiative to introduce subsidies for egg freezing costs, we realized that having this option as a safeguard expands the possibilities for one’s life.

Most recently, Johnny Associates and SUNNY SIDE UP teamed up to provide workplace vaccinations for COVID-19 for everyone supporting the entertainment industry.

Moving forward, the “32 Benefits” will continue to update by anticipating changing trends. Please look forward to the next news update…!
