SUNNY SIDE UP 2021 Job Offer Ceremony Held Online! New “Eggs” Join Forces for Their First Project!

As the days gradually begin to feel more like autumn, the season for job offer ceremonies has arrived once again this year.

While the ceremony is typically held with everyone gathered in the office’s large conference room, this year it was conducted online due to the ongoing office renovations in Sendagaya and to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The prospective employees attending this year’s ceremony are all formidable individuals who successfully navigated the selection process amidst the pandemic…!

Today, October 1st, is the day of our monthly group-wide morning assembly. The event began with each prospective employee introducing themselves to all company members during this assembly, held just before the ceremony.Remarkably, they all participated wearing matching original T-shirts. Their sense of unity already seems outstanding.

One of the highlights was the screening of a “Self-PR Video” produced by the prospective employees working together! This was their first project as a group, with members living in the Kansai region also participating remotely.

The story of the “Self-PR Video” featured members dressed as “eggs” performing a torch relay near the Sendagaya office, using that “fire” to cook a fried egg. (Of course, these were all props, haha.)

Each prospective employee introduced themselves in the order they ran the torch relay. To help others get to know them, they used hobby-related items and creative outfits, resulting in a very unique and “fun” video!

Following that, the official job offer ceremony finally began.

After the online presentation of job offer certificates and a speech from the president, a lunch networking session was held where members enjoyed meals they had prepared individually.

While it is certainly wonderful for members to gather in person at the office, holding the event via Zoom allowed us to see each person’s face more clearly than we would have in a large venue.

Everyone attended with the SSU bottles that were given as a gift to celebrate their job offers!

Furthermore, through the highly individualistic profile videos, we were able to gain a deeper understanding of the backgrounds and interests of our prospective employees, making us even more excited to welcome them at the entrance ceremony in April!

These prospective employees have begun their journey as our colleagues starting today.

We are eager to see what kind of new “fun commotions” they will create with their youthful experiences and ideas… All our members are looking forward to you joining the company!
