Our New Office Packed with “Let’s Have Fun!” Is Finally Complete! What Does This Office Look Like, Where Everyone’s Idea of “Fun” Comes to Life? [Hello, New Office!!]
Hello. I am Sunny-chan from Public Relations!
The renovation of our Sendagaya office, announced approximately two months ago in September, has been completed, and our new office officially opens today!

Because everyone’s idea of “fun” is different, we wanted to create a space where each person’s “fun” can be realized. With this vision and the goal of achieving sustainable and exponential growth across the entire group, we began creating our new office.
Now that “location-independent work styles” such as telework, remote work, and online meetings have become the norm, we gathered various members to consider what kind of space an office—a place where colleagues meet face-to-face—should be.

The ideal office we envisioned is like a “Central Kitchen”—a place where ingredients and chefs from around the world gather to create unprecedented new dishes!
The concept for our new office is “CENTRAL KITCHEN.” We built a large kitchen in the center of the office, embodying our desire to create a place where many colleagues and ideas gather, giving birth to the next era of “Let’s Have Fun!”

With this renovation, we have adopted a free-address system, eliminating individual desks for most departments except for some group administrative divisions and group companies!

The space allows you to work wherever you like while changing your mood—at a counter today, a round table tomorrow, or on a sofa next time. You can get your favorite drinks and snacks from the Central Kitchen, making it feel like a café. The space has become one where visiting clients can also experience our group’s fun atmosphere.
We have also installed “teleconference booths” for online meetings and booths where individuals can concentrate without worrying about their surroundings.

Additionally, each meeting room features printed “famous quotes from around the world” that energize you when you see them during work. (This reflects our commitment to valuing words, as we work in PR and communication, fields that rely on the power of language.)

And finally, the new office warming party began! After approximately two months of telework, members gathered together for the first time in a while.

First, a greeting from President Tsugihara.
Unfortunately (?), we could not have the annual “hug with the president on Labor Thanksgiving Day” due to COVID-19 prevention measures, but the president’s energetic words, as always, recharged all the members!

In this era when telework and remote work are becoming the “new normal,” President Tsugihara emphasized that “precisely because we can now work from anywhere, we must value face-to-face communication.” We want all members to build this new office as a place for such communication! Apparently, on Friday evenings, the president herself will welcome everyone as the proprietress of “Snack Etsuko” at the Central Kitchen (laughs)!
So, to celebrate our new office, while maintaining social distance, “Cheers!”

Following the president’s greeting, we introduced methods for maximizing the use of our new office!

Some members still seemed unfamiliar with the dramatically transformed office…
First, we explained the “free-address system,” one of the major features of our new office. We introduced the characteristics of each location. You can work in a place that suits your tasks and mood for the day, ensuring better concentration!
And the other highlight is the “Central Kitchen” positioned right in the center of the office! Not only coffee and tea, but also rice with raw egg, miso soup, and even beer on Fridays are available! It will surely become a place of respite for members busy with work (^^)(It seemed everyone gradually became captivated by the catering in front of them…?)
Finally, we introduced the “Smile Keeper,” stationed at the Central Kitchen, a new role created with the opening of our new office!

A wonderful area has been born where you can take a breather during work!
With that, the warming party came to a close.
The much-anticipated brunch time until the 11:00 AM start of work began!
Everything looks delicious…

However, the highlight this time was undoubtedly this original sunny-side up egg!

We had an original sunny-side up egg featuring the SUNNY SIDE UP logo made for us! Both the appearance and taste were outstanding!!
The completed plate looks like this ↓

With our spirits and stomachs happily satisfied, work in our new office began!
We look forward to meeting you at our new office, which embodies our “Let’s Have Fun!”
