YES or NO? “Thank you, Colleagues!”—our Labor Thanksgiving event to share everyday gratitude—will be held again this year!
Hello! I am Nakano from SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Public Relations. It is still quite warm this year, but before we know it, November is already nearing its end.
The other day, November 23, was Labor Thanksgiving Day.
At SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP, once again this year, ahead of Labor Thanksgiving Day,we held “Thank you, Colleagues!” to express our gratitude to the members who work hard every day.
This event is also one of our 32 Benefits. On Labor Thanksgiving Day, directors—including CEO Tsugihara of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP—serve breakfast to members as a token of appreciation.

What kind of fun event did it turn into this year…?
On the night before the event, just as we thought the operations team was working while buried in a mountain of balloons…

By morning, a delightfully happy entrance was complete!

As members arrive at the office, step out of the elevator, and head toward the front entrance, they are greeted by “THANK YOU” balloon decorations.
And if you look a little further in… you will see the words “HUG,” “YES,” and “NO.”

In past years, it was customary for executives to hug members to say, “Thank you always!” This year, however, the format changed so that a surprise awaited after choosing either “YES” or “NO.”

And an essential part of this gratitude event is everyone’s favorite item!
This year again, we prepared croque madames from “Bonjour Bon” in Nakano. Breads that look just like the SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP logo lined up across the office.

This year, in addition to CEO Tsugihara of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP and Director Matsumoto of SUNNY SIDE UP, COO Ueno—who joined SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP this July—and CEO Seechow of SUNNY SIDE UP also gathered to express their daily gratitude to our valued members.

Once everything was finally ready, members began arriving one after another. Though puzzled by the unusual atmosphere at the entrance, they soon remembered it was the annual “Thank you, Colleagues!” event day.

Then, after receiving a sudden (laughs) explanation of YES or NO, they headed off in the direction of their choice.
If you go in the YES direction…

You will find the executives waiting at the office entrance with smiles!
With words like “Thank you always!!,” hugs, fist bumps (!), and more, they expressed their gratitude to members in their own ways.

Some responded with a hug, saying, “Right back at you!”
Some were so surprised they burst out laughing,
and some returned Ueno’s fist bump with full force (laughs).
A warm atmosphere filled the entire entrance from the morning.

And this year as well, Watanabe, Vice President of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP, made surprise visits to our group companies “Kumunam Entertainment” and “Steady Study”!
Although their offices are different, we delivered the customary food along with words of thanks to our colleagues who strive together and bring “fun commotion” to the world.

At the Sendagaya office, we also prepared inari sushi from “Otsuna Sushi” to coincide with lunchtime. As soon as preparations began in the kitchen, members gathered one after another, drawn by the delicious aroma.

With smiles spreading throughout the office, we believe it became a moment of relief and rest for members who work hard every day on events and on proposing communication initiatives for clients.

“I warmed up the bread, so please eat it before it gets cold!”
The feeling of “thank you” is easy to forget to express, even when we think it every day. On this day, considerate words for one another flew around the office.
Held once a year, the “Thank you, Colleagues!” event—where we recognize and care for our colleagues—became an opportunity to remind us of what truly matters amid our busy days.
This event will come around again next year when you least expect it—please look forward to it.
