March 8 is International Women’s Day! A day to face and care for your own body 🕊 Our unique benefits program “32 Benefits” has been updated!
Hello! This is PR Sunny-chan.
The chilly days continue, making us hesitate to change our wardrobes. I recall that in past years, the cherry blossoms were already in bloom and it was warm spring weather by graduation season…!
An event that arrives unfailingly each spring, even as the season shows a different face each year, has come again this year! “International Women’s Day,” known worldwide as a day to reflect on women’s lives and express gratitude to women 🌼
At SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP, we have been promoting International Women’s Day since 2015 through initiatives such as establishing the “Dear WOMAN Program” as a welfare benefit to subsidize egg freezing, with the desire to support our female members in having as many life choices as possible.
We would like to introduce our initiatives for this year 🌻
March 8, International Women’s Day, is “Health Cure DAY: A Day to Care for Your Body”

Starting this year, SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP is encouraging paid leave on March 8, International Women’s Day, as “Health Cure DAY: A Day to Care for Your Body” 💐 The eight-day period from March 1 to 8, designated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as “Women’s Health Week,” is the encouraged leave period.
The intention is that all members, not only women, can use “International Women’s Day” as an opportunity to engage with their physical and mental wellness and spend time to “Cure” their own bodies. This is the sentiment behind the initiative.

Women’s Empowerment Design Project “W society” hosts online seminars for internal and external audiences 🥚
“W society,” a project promoted by our group company “Good and Company” that addresses women’s physical, mental, and social issues, held the 8th session of “W school,” a life design seminar providing “opportunities to learn about women’s bodies, healthcare, and balancing these with careers,” in commemoration of International Women’s Day.

This session welcomed Professor Yasunori Yoshimura (Professor Emeritus, Keio University / Physician) to explore “menopause and old age,” topics of broad interest across age groups, under the theme “Healthcare for an Ageless Life: Hints for Living Through Menopause and Old Age in Your Own Way.”
Menopausal symptoms are said to cause economic losses of 630 billion yen* for both men and women combined. And beyond that lies old age.
There is so much we can and should do now to live our future lives in good health…! It was a time of learning 🕊

SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP’s office also celebrated this day 🎉
And on March 8 itself, large mimosa flowers were arranged in the office’s central kitchen, with the hope that even those in the office could feel the seasonal event and celebrate it with partners, family, and friends 🌼
In Europe, mimosa is called the “flower of happiness,” and because mimosa blooms from February to March, it has also become a symbol of International Women’s Day. The vibrant yellow, which is also our corporate color, seems to give us energy.

At the end of the day, small bouquets are available to take home so that the celebration of International Women’s Day can be shared outside the office as well 💐

SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP will continue to conduct activities utilizing PR communication to create a society where anyone can create “fun excitement” 🍳
It is perfectly fine if you cannot take special actions. Why not use “International Women’s Day” as an opportunity to express gratitude to yourself and those around you, and to reflect on a society where everyone, including women, can thrive?
