[Start of the 39th Term] Group Kick-off Meeting Report: This Year’s Theme is “Shin SUNNY SIDE UP”!

Before we knew it, the hot season has arrived, making us want to head out in summer outfits 🌞! Amidst this, SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP welcomed the start of its 39th term on July 1.

The 38th term flew by in the blink of an eye. Looking back on this past year…
▼ Won the top award in the “Corporate Communications” category at the International PR Association’s “GOLDEN WORLD AWARDS 2022”! (August)
SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP has been engaged in “social good” activities (addressing social issues) for many years since its founding. This series of corporate communication activities was recognized, leading to our selection as a “Social Good Company” dedicated to solving social challenges!

In a PR firm satisfaction survey conducted by Weekly Toyo Keizai involving approximately 200 corporate PR representatives, SUNNY SIDE UP was incredibly selected as the overall No. 1!
This is the highest possible evaluation from those who support us daily and those we work with. Nothing could make us happier!

Our work styles, adapted to an era where things change and diversify at a dizzying pace, were evaluated from multiple perspectives.
Furthermore, by maximizing the synergy of our group companies, we achieved record-high net sales again this year!

The “SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP 39th Term Kick-off Meeting” was held at the Tokyo American Club!
This year’s kick-off meeting was held in a style where everyone could see each other’s faces and enjoy a meal together. A total of 300 members from across the entire group gathered 🎉.
Here is a report on the annual event where we thanked all members for their hard work over the past year and aligned our steps toward the future that is about to begin 🎙.
What was the content of this year’s kick-off meeting…?
First, presentations from three new members of the SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP: Daisuke Ueno, Senior Executive Officer of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP; See-Chau Ryu, President and Representative Director of SUNNY SIDE UP; and Daizo Nishitani, President and Representative Director of SUNNY SIDE X, which just launched in July!
They spoke about how SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP should evolve to take a new step forward as a brand communication company, and what we can all do to welcome the upcoming year together ✨.
Thinking about the year ahead is so exciting…!
Following the presentations that gave us a sense of the future, a toast was led by Tokuhito Watanabe, Executive Vice President and Representative Director of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP 🥂.
Everyone in the group raised their glasses, exchanging words like “Great job!” and “Let’s do our best this term!”

This day is a unique opportunity to see the faces and initiatives of members from companies we don’t usually interact with 🎞️.
And toward the end, the annual “SUNNY AWARDS” were announced!
From all the projects handled by SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP during the 38th term, 10 projects recognized for creating a “Let’s Have Fun!” atmosphere received the SUNNY AWARDS. Project representatives took the stage to be honored ✨.
Finally, everyone gathered for a group photo 📸.
