In 2025, we held the “Thank you, Colleagues!” Labor Thanksgiving event again! Sharing our appreciation with a limited-edition truffle burger and award-winning pizza
Hello! I’m Sunny-chan from the PR team.
Again this year, ahead of Labor Thanksgiving Day on November 23, we held our annual “Thank you, Colleagues!” Labor Thanksgiving event!
The “Thank you, Colleagues!” program is one of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP’s employee benefits, the “32 Benefits.” Centered around our Group President and CEO, Jihara, and other executives, this event treats our members to food as a token of appreciation for their daily efforts.
This year, it was held on November 21 at the Sendagaya office. In this article, we will share highlights from the day!
Preparations the day before
On the evening before the event, our corporate team set up the venue as part of the preparations. We decorated the office and confirmed each person’s role for the day, getting everything ready for the main event.

With the hope that “everyone will be happy tomorrow…!”, we paid close attention to the colors and layout as we decorated.

And then, the day arrived.
We began, as always, with hugs and a moment of thanks from the executive team.
With the desire to “express our gratitude to each and every valued member,” SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP President and CEO Jihara, SUNNY SIDE UP President and CEO C. Chow, and SUNNY SIDE UP Director Matsumoto waited at the entrance again this year.

Greeting each member as they arrived at the office with “Thank you always” and “Great work every day,” they shared their appreciation with a hug!

Here is this year’s lineup!
In addition to our “classic favorites,” we prepared three special items filled with connections unique to SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP.
A yearly tradition! The “Croque Madame” that looks just like the SSG logo (?)

First up is the ever-popular “Croque Madame,” specially made by Bonjour Bon Nakano every year.
With a shop in Nakano—where our group was founded—and a look that resembles the SSG logo (?), it has become a signature symbol of the event.

With its reliably great taste again this year, members who picked one up happily exclaimed, “This is it!” and “It’s back again this year!”
Shake Shack limited-time menu: “Black Truffle Burger”

Next, from Shake Shack—where SUNNY SIDE UP handles PR and communications—the holiday-season limited menu item, the “Black Truffle Burger,” made an appearance!
Featuring a special mayo sauce with black truffle, a 100% Angus beef patty, fried onions, Emmental cheese, and arugula, it is a dish packed with exceptional aroma and satisfying richness.
It was a huge hit from the moment it was lined up in the kitchen, selling out in no time!
“Two types of pizza from La TRIPLETTA, an award-winning restaurant at “50 TOP PIZZA ASIA – PACIFIC 2025”

And here is another highlight of this year.
This is pizza from the renowned La TRIPLETTA, which placed in the ceremony “50 TOP PIZZA ASIA – PACIFIC 2025,” hosted by “50 Top Pizza,” the world’s most influential guide dedicated to pizzerias, which selects the top 50 pizzerias in the Asia-Pacific region for 2025—an event for which SUNNY SIDE UP handles PR and communications!
This time, the menu featured two varieties: Margherita and Salsiccia Friarielli.

And, unbelievably…!
Kenji Ota, who baked pizzas at the award ceremony itself, baked every single pizza that was served.
“Thank you, Colleagues!” is SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP’s annual Labor Thanksgiving event. It is an important time when executives and management can express their everyday “thank you” to members—and members can share it with one another as well.
Including hugs from the executive team and the lavish food, it was a day that reminded us once again how grateful we are to have a place like this to exchange appreciation, even amid our busy days. Moving forward, we will continue to move ahead as one group, driven by gratitude and respect for our colleagues.

One thing Jihara has continued every year without fail is writing a handwritten message to members.
Please look forward to next year’s “Thank you, Colleagues!” as well!
